Health and Disaster Preparedness

Professors from Chinese University of HongKong (CUHK), Emily Ying Yang Chan and Dr.Tony Ka Chun Yung conducted a brief seminar on Health and Disaster Preparedness and also Natural Disasters which are highly prone in Bhutan. Professor Emily touched on the disasters such as Earthquake and Flood and Dr.Tony talked on nutritional issues with natural disasters.

It was very informative and the seminar was of great benefit to the students in preparing themselves for any natural calamities which may strike the chords of our country. The team from CUHK also conducted a research on Health and Disaster Preparedness by making students fill in a questionaire. The presence of guests from internationally acclaimed university made the program even more granduer and promising. Having been said about natural disasters, we the students were reminded and mentally equipped about the natural threats and the consequences that is imposing on our country.
