Tuesday, 26^th November, 2019 to 30^th November, 2019 Team UA Science, Lower Division (10 students and 2 escort teachers) participates in the Science Fest: Relativity 2019 at La Martiniere, Kolkata. Most of the Renowned English Medium Schools in India participate in the event. Team UA does the nation proud by bagging gold medal in the event Diagnostic Lab.

All BCSE and BHSEC students visit Talo Monastery to offer prayers. It is an annual event.

Our Yab Dasho Ugyen Dorji passed away peacefully in the early hours on the 8th day of the 3rd month of the Female Earth Pig Year at his residence in Punakha, in the presence of His Holiness the Je Khenpo, who conducted Phowa. His Eminence Gyalse Trulku, senior monks of the Dratshang, Yum Thuji Zam and his family members were also present. Yab Dasho Ugyen Dorji was 94. Professors from Chinese University of HongKong (CUHK), Emily Ying Yang Chan and Dr.Tony Ka Chun Yung conducted a brief seminar on Health and Disaster Preparedness and also Natural Disasters which are highly prone in Bhutan. Professor Emily touched on the disasters such as Earthquake and Flood and Dr.Tony talked on nutritional issues with natural disasters.

Ugyen Academy celebrated Annual Sport Day.

Ugyen Academy Volleyball Team (Men) wins the National Open SIESA Championship, Thimphu, conducted by Bhutan Volleyball Federation.

The freshmen expressed their appreciation and paid token of gratitude to the senior students for the grand welcome. Special appearances by Sonam Wangchen (UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador), Sonam Dema (Druk Superstar Top 3: 2018), and Young Superstar Jamyang (Class VIII) made our day.

Our King granted an Audience to the 1015 students and 58 teachers. It was a precious opportunity for the UA family to hear from Our Majesty on the following three things:
